Gold Pride's Sinclair named WPS Player of Week

Santa Clara, CA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - FC Gold Pride forward Christine Sinclair
was honored as Women's Professional Soccer Player of the Week for Week 14 on
Tuesday.
Sinclair led first-place FC Gold Pride to its third successive win and fifth
in six games, a 2-0 triumph Saturday over second-place Philadelphia.
Sinclair, a unanimous selection from the media, scored both goals to help Gold
Pride (10-3-1) extend its lead atop the WPS standings to 10 points.
The goals were the sixth and seventh this year for the Canadian. Sinclair also
won the award once last season. She is the second Gold Pride player to win the
award this year, joining Brazilian forward Marta, who has captured the award
three times.
